Govind Ballabh Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment & Sustainable Development (GBPIHED), Almora, Uttarakhand has announced notification for the recruitment of Junior Project Fellow, Field Assistant/ Data Entry Operator, Programme Consultant, Field Technician, Field/ Lab. 1. Junior Project Fellow: 04 posts
2. Field Assistant/ Data Entry Operator: 04 posts

7. Senior Project Fellow: 01 post

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 28 years for Post No.1 & 4, 32 years for Post No.7, 35 years for Post No.2, 5, 40 years for Post No.6, 8. Age relaxation is admissible for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women/ Physically handicapped candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess First Class Masters degree in Physics/ Earth Sciences/Geography or relevant subjects/ B.Tech in Civil for Post No.1, Intermediate with 03 years field experience in Himalayan terrain for Post No.2, Master Degree in Science/ Social Science/ Earth Science for Post No.3, Masters degree in Geography/ Botany/ Forestry for Post No.4, Graduation in Science/ Social Science for Post No.5, Intermediate with 03 years experience of working in field in Himalayan conditions for Post No.6, First Class Masters degree in Microbiology with two years research experience as JRF/ JPF on microbial communities for Post No.7, Graduation for Post No.8.
