ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR), Kerala has published notification for the recruitment of Senior Research Fellow, Lab/ Field Assistant vacancies under the project titled ” Pre-breeding for transfer of Okra Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus and Enation Leaf Curl Virus tolerance from wild relatives to cultivated genepool” on temporary & and coterminous basis. Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 – 35 years as on 02-03-2016. Relaxation of age will be applicable to Female Candidates, SC/ ST and OBC candidates as per GOI/ ICAR rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.Sc. in Horticulture/Agriculture/ Botany from a recognized University with specialization in Genetics & Plant Breeding with M.Sc. (3+2 year pattern) in Botany for Post No. 01 & 10 + 2/ Vocational Higher Secondary with Agriculture as one subject or 10+2 with additional minimum six months training from recognized institution in Agriculture/ Horticulture for Post No. 02.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.
