An Autonomous Institution of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India), Wildlife Institute of India (WII) has announced a notification for the recruitment of Project Associate, Senior Biologist, Research Biologist, Project Biologist vacancies for the various projects on contractual basis. Age Limit: Candidates age should be not exceeding 40 years for UR, 45 years for SC/ ST/ Women, 43 years for OBC for Post 1, 35 years for UR, 40 years for SC/ ST/ Women, 38 years for OBC for Post 2, 35 years for B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Sc and 28 years for B.Sc for UR, 40 years for M.Sc. and 33 years for B.Sc for SC/ ST/ Women, 38 years for M.Sc. and 31 years for B.Sc for Post 3, 35 years for UR, 40 years for SC/ST/Women, 38 years for OBC for Post 4, 5, 6 as on last date of submission of online application.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Doctorate degree in Biological Sciences or M.Sc. in Wildlife Sciences/ Zoology/ Botany / Life Sciences/ Forestry/ Environmental Science for Post 1, M.Sc. in Wildlife Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Genetics for Post 2, B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Wildlife Science/ Botany/Zoology/ Forestry/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Management/ Agricultural Sciences/ Veterinary Sciences for Post 3, M.Sc/ M.Tech in Wildlife Science/ Life Sciences/ Forestry/ Environmental Science/ Applied Science/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ Post Graduate/ Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS for Post 4, M.Sc/ M.Tech in Wildlife Science/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Bio sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences for Post 5, M.Sc. in Wildlife Science/ Botany/Zoology /Forestry/ Life Science/ Environmental Sciences/ GIS for post 6 with 55% of marks from a recognized University with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Online Qualifying Test followed by Personal Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 750/- for General, Rs. 100/- for SC/ST candidates through the prescribed “Payment Gateway”. Payment can be made via Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card through online secured payment gateway.
