Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has published notification for the recruitment of 100 Trade Apprentice (Fitter, Pipe Fitter, Structural Fitter, Electronic Mechanic, Carpenter, Fitter – Structural) vacancies through Group A & B. A. Group A: 55 Posts
1. Fitter: 20 Posts
2. Pipe Fitter: 20 Posts
3. Structural Fitter: 15 Posts
B. Group B: 45 Posts
1. Electronic Mechanic: 15 Posts
2. Carpenter: 15 Posts
3. Fitter – Structural: 15 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 15 – 19 years for Sl No. A & 16 – 21 years for Sl No. B as on 01-01-2016. Relaxation of age will be applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC (NCL) and 10 years for PH candidates as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 10th class in 1st class with General Science & mathematics with 50% marks or aggregate for Sl No. A & ITI in 1st attempt in respective trades of Electronic Mechanic/ Carpenter/ Fitter from Govt/ Govt recognised Institute with 50% marks for Sl No. B.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test, medical examination & interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 140/- (including Bank Charges) through challan deposited at any nearest branch of SBI. Application fee will be exempted to SC & ST candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed application format with self attested photocopies caste certificate, PH certificate, birth certificate, school leaving certificate, educational qualification certificate, MDL challan copy, latest passport size colour photograph, mark sheets & an envelope should be super scribed with “Group Applied for (A/ B): …………………… on the top corner to the Additional General Manager (ATS/ MET), Gate No.09, Alcock Yard, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Dock Yard Road Mazagaon, Mumbai 400 010 on or before 21-01-2016 by 05:00 P.M.
