Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has given a
notification for the recruitment of 81 Diploma Trainee (Electrical),
Diploma Trainee (Civil), Diploma Trainee (Electronics &
Communication), Junior Technician Trainee (HR & Electrical),
Assistant (F&A) vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online from
09-12-2015 at 10:00 hrs to 25-12-2015 by 23:59 hrs. Other details like

1. Diploma Trainee (Electrical): 33 Posts
2. Diploma Trainee (Civil): 07 Posts
3. Diploma Trainee (Electronics & Communication): 04 Posts
4. Junior Officer Trainee (HR): 04 Posts
5. Junior Technician Trainee (Electrical): 27 Posts
6. Assistant (F&A): 06 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates
upper age limit is 28 years for Assistant (F&A), 27 years for
remaining posts as on 25-12-2015. Age relaxation is applicable for upto 3
years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ ST and 10 years for PwD candidates
as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Diploma in Electrical/ Civil/ Electronics
& Communication Engineering from recognized Technical Board/
Institute for Diploma Trainee (Electrical, Civil, Electronics &
Communication) post, full time Post Graduation Degree/ Post Graduation
Diploma/ MBA in Human Resource/ Personnel Management/ Industrial
Relation/ MSW or equivalent from recognized Institute for Jr. Officer
Trainee (HR). For more information refer notification.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test, trade test and interview.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay Rs. 300/- + bank charges (Rs. 60/-) for Diploma
Trainee (Electrical & Civil), Diploma Trainee (Electronics &
Communication) & Junior Officer Trainee (HR) Posts and Rs. 200/- +
bank charges (Rs. 60/-) for Jr. Technician Trainee (Electrical) and
Assistant (F&A). No fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-SM Candidates.
Offline Mode: Candidates can deposit the fees at any branch of State
Bank of India after TWO Bank Working Days of generation of challan.

09-12-2015 at 10:00 hrs to 25-12-2015 by 23:59 hrs and send their hard
copy of application along with online generated resume, copy of Bank
challan, copies of relevant documents and in an envelope should be
superscribed as the “Application for the Post of __________________”
through ordinary post/ speed post to the DGM (HR)/ HOP, Power Grid
Corporation of India Ltd, WRTS-I, Regional Head Quarters, Sampriti
Nagar, Nari Ring Road, P.O-Uppalwadi, Nagpur, Pin code-440026 on or
before 29-12-2015 at 23:59 hrs.
